MCI Strengthens Industry Ties at Monaco Yacht Show 2025

As the sun sets on another spectacular edition of the Monaco Yacht Show, the global superyacht industry is buzzing with the connections made and the innovations unveiled. Amidst the glamour and grandeur of Port Hercule, the South Pacific stand emerged as a vibrant hub of activity, where Maritime Cook Islands (MCI) proudly exhibited alongside its regional partners, Superyacht Australia and Melanesian Luxury Yachts.

The 2025 show, which concluded last week, was a resounding success, reaffirming its status as the world’s most prestigious superyacht event. The show saw an impressive turnout, with preliminary statistics indicating over 28,000 visitors, including ultra-high-net-worth individuals, prospective buyers, and industry professionals from every conceivable sector. More than 115 superyachts, including dozens of world premieres, were on breathtaking display, showcasing the pinnacle of naval architecture and luxury design.

For Maritime Cook Islands, the show was a pivotal opportunity to engage with the heart of the industry. The collaborative South Pacific stand created a powerful synergy, presenting the region not just as a premier flag registry but as a world-class, multifaceted cruising and charter destination. The unified presence provided a seamless experience for visitors looking to explore the vast potential of the Pacific.

Throughout the week, the MCI team held a packed schedule of meetings with new and existing clients. The stand was a constant flurry of productive discussions with a diverse range of key stakeholders, including leading brokers, maritime lawyers, yacht captains, and representatives from top-tier yacht management companies, renowned shipyards, and essential crewing agencies. These interactions are crucial for fostering the relationships that underpin the registry’s continued growth and excellent service.

Reflecting on the successful event, Glenn Armstrong of Maritime Cook Islands commented on the exceptional quality of engagement. “This was our most successful Monaco show yet, with the focus squarely on the unique benefits of the Maritime Cook Islands flag,” said Armstrong. “Top-tier clients are looking for more than just a flag; they want a partner known for excellence, efficiency, and a modern approach. We had concrete discussions about new registrations right at the stand, which proves our reputation for quality and service is resonating strongly within the superyacht community.”

The success of the Monaco Yacht Show 2025 serves as a testament to the robust health of the superyacht market and the growing appeal of the South Pacific. As the industry looks ahead, Maritime Cook Islands is well-positioned to build on the momentum gained, continuing to champion the benefits of its flag and the unparalleled beauty of its region.
