EUROPE – 28 NOVEMBER 2025 – Over the past month, Maritime Cook Islands recently executed a series of regulatory audits in Spain and Monaco to verify fleet compliance and safety standards. Under the oversight of Head of Marine Operations and Compliance, Rachele Andreani, these inspections validate adherence to international maritime regulations. This activity is part of the administration’s scheduled technical oversight within the European region.
In Málaga, a flag certification audit was completed on an 85-metre Abeking & Rasmussen superyacht, conducted in coordination with Arrow Services Monaco. Subsequently, the annual Document of Compliance (DOC) audit was finalized for Fraser Yachts in Monaco. These assessments focused on the technical alignment of safety management systems between the Flag administration and the vessel managers.
The completion of these audits confirms that operational criteria are being maintained by the respective management entities. Maritime Cook Islands prioritizes this direct verification process to ensure regulatory discipline across its fleet.
Continued technical cooperation between the Flag and its partners remains central to maintaining consistent compliance in international waters.
