Maritime Cook Islands (MCI) participated in the Auckland Boat Show from March 5th to 8th, 2025, as part of our ongoing efforts to expand our presence in the international yacht industry. Representatives from MCI, including The Marketing and Media Department, Katrina Matheson & Louisa Purea, along with Cook Islands Agent, Captain Maxwell Cumming, engaged with captains, maritime lawyers, yacht brokers, and yacht management professionals throughout the event.

Among the highlights of the event was MY Kokomo, the largest yacht on display, proudly flying the Cook Islands flag. MCI had three yachts featured within the show, and an additional five yachts displayed outside the venue.

Katrina Matheson, Head of Marketing, commented, “It was a great opportunity to introduce our Yacht Agent, Captain Maxwell Cumming, to the New Zealand network, while also meeting with existing stakeholders and potential new clients.” MCI’s involvement in the Auckland Boat Show is part of its broader strategy to enhance global visibility and build long-term relationships within key maritime markets.
