The Superyacht Australia Soiree 2025 in Sydney provided an opportunity for industry professionals to network, engage in yacht hopping across multiple superyachts, and discuss the latest developments in the charter sector. Held at Jones Bay Wharf, a renowned waterfront venue in Sydney, the event allowed yacht owners, brokers, suppliers, and maritime professionals to explore some of the most luxurious superyachts while discussing new opportunities within the industry.
Attending the event from Maritime Cook Islands (MCI) were The Marketing & Media Department, Katrina Matheson and Louisa Purea, alongside MCI surveyor Sean Anker. With an attendance of about 266 participants, the soiree was buzzing along the waterfront.
A key focus of the event was the growing demand for charter services, with direct conversations between attendees and charterers shedding light on the expanding superyacht charter market. This highlighted the sector’s continued growth and its important role in the broader superyacht industry. Although Cyclone Alfred impacted the attendance of some participants, those who were able to attend found the event to be highly productive. The more intimate setting allowed for valuable, in-depth discussions and reinforced key industry connections.
MCI would like to congratulate the team at Superyacht Australia and all those involved on a successful event, and look forward to the next.
